About Us

Calday Pool is a registered charity (Charity No. 1056069) formed in September 1996, by a group of Pool Users, to take over the running of the pool after the Local Authority’s decision not to renew its lease. The pool is now on a long term lease to the Trust from Calday Grange Grammar School.  The pool is hired out to numerous groups and clubs from the local area for various activities as well as being used for primary school and Calday Grammar School sessions and offering Lifeguard Courses....

We have completed a two week swimming block with the instructors at Calday pool and were very impressed with how supportive they were of the children.

Our class is a mixed Year 3 and 4 class therefore some children are quite young and lack confidence. All instructors ensured that the children were encouraged and allowed for opportunties to keep the children confident with their swimming ability.

Thank you!
