This Christmas, Calday Grange Swimming Pool Trust are proud to be partnering with the Wirral Charity Christmas Post as we have been named as one of their nominated Charities for 2019, and we would be hugely grateful if our swimmers could show them some support and choose to send their Christmas Cards through their postal service.
Every year, Wirral Scout and Guide Christmas Post raise a huge amount of money through their Christmas Card delivery service, 75-80% of which goes to the local Scout groups to improve the lives of over 2000 young children by providing them with important life skills. The other portion of the money raised is donated between several Wirral Based charities that carry out important Charitable work throughout the Wirral.
This Year CGSPT is one of their nominated charities and due to their extremely generous support we will be able to purchase a brand new Pool Extraction Board which will help to make your local community pool an even safer place for both children and adults alike who enjoy using it. Through their support we hope to spread their message of improving and teaching young people important life skills by teaching one of the most important life skills of all-Swimming.

Below is a picture of the Pool Extraction Board, which is a revolutionary new rescue device designed to increase the speed of a spinal rescue and decrease the demand on staff, requiring only 2 members of staff to operate it as opposed to the 5 members of staff required to operate an old style Spinal Rescue Board.
